Memorable part of my Life

Do you have any moments in your life that you treasure the most? Of-course you will have right. I do have the most remarkable part in my life. Opps! I always forget to introduce myself. I am DIRGU currently doing teaching practice in Gedu Higher Secondary School and teaching practice phase is the most memorable part of my life. I will share you why it is the most remarkable part of my life. First of all, it is my first time stepping into the field of teaching. until now I was just the consumer of knowledge. Now, I am the one who is disseminating the knowledge to my innocent students. I have learned that teaching is the most precious thing in the world. It is where you get opportunity to touch the heart of young children. As a teacher, I can literally connect with my students. My students have taught me the value of teaching and learning. I have never thought that teaching would be this much fun and fascinating. when I was in the college, I was always worried about how to make lesson plan, deliver lesson to the students and how would my students react to my teaching. Now I have realized that it is how you connect with the students that matter. My students (V A& B) are the reason why I started falling in love with teaching. 

I used to think that teaching is the most dangerous job in the world. Hearing news about teacher being accused of the miscommunication of the content knowledge scared me to death. I maybe the next victim was my greatest fear. Additionally, teachers are continuously judged for their every move and this type of experience always threaten me. The environment is completely different when I come here.

Let me introduce you all to one of the mostly used Google apps that is Google classroom and it's a free blended learning platform develop by Google for educational institution that aims to simply creating, distributing and grading assignment. You can use this digital classroom to enhance communication, streamline assignment and to boost collaboration. it allows you to share files, create assignment for learners, and communicate with your students in a paperless way.

This is how Google classroom looks like. You can use your Gmail account to login to your Google classroom or if you are using your phone, you can install Google classroom apps from play store app then you can login to the app using your Google account. You as a teacher you will get a classroom code and you can use that code to invite your student in your respective class besides that you can invite co-tutor as well. if you are logging in from computer or laptop it is already installed in it. You can use Google meet that is available in Google to conduct meeting or any video conference all you need is to provide meeting code in the Google classroom.

I recommend Quiz to review student's learning in addition to that students will be excited upon whether their answer would be correct or not and in case they are leading quiz then they would be over the moon and compete with everyone to get first and that's the power of quiz. Even result is anonymous or it's between teacher and respective students only furthermore teacher can provide instant feedback or feedback can be typed beforehand like whoever get correct answer automatically positive feedback can be provided. You may be wondering like students will copy from internet and get the correct answer there is solution for this as well. You can set time for the quiz and make sure each student gets the time just to read the question and click on the answer only like maximum of 5-10 sec.  You might be wondering like Google form is generally used for collecting data and survey. I have chosen this topic on animals from class I English textbook for my video tutorial and the core reason for choosing this topic is to make learning fun, for young children don't like lecturing besides they are fond of video. Right from their birth until the age of joining in the school most of them were brought up with YouTube and other media platform so my video tutorial would assist them in their journey towards learning.

This video is for those students who face difficulties in learning with the same pace as other. Taking into account the different learning style of the children I have come up with this video as an additional learning material and to caters learning needs of multiple students. for example:  in a class there may be student who learn better with visual aids, some may be auditory learner and few a tactile learner so one third of my video focus on visual learners along with auditory and I regret to mention here that I couldn't emphasize on tactile learner nevertheless I will be using different images of animals in the class so that no child is left behind in terms of learning.

I am going to use this video in the beginning of the lesson to ignites curiosity in the minds of learner besides young children are fond of watching video so letting them to watch video before the lesson would help them to boost their curiosity level towards learning furthermore it will help them in retaining information or lesson for longer period of time for what we see and hear remains in our mind for longer duration than the one explained by others.

Before designing this video, I ponder regarding the topic I have to choose, and I have to weigh down pros and cons of the video tutorial. I have to see relevancy of this video for primary children who have just step their feet into learning environment. After selecting the topic, I have thoroughly planned on how to design video and in which sequence should my video be in either picture should be shown first or the sound of an animals. I have watch some of the video that were already published on the topic I have chosen addition to that I have googled relevant information from the internet regarding the topic that is animals. I have used cap cut apps to design and edit my video on animals. Finally, I succeed and
come up with this video tutorial on animals.
